How I work:
My goal as a photographer is to create custom images that not only capture your pet’s personality but also can stand alone as a work of fine art. I have always loved animals and there is nothing more amazing to me than capturing even a small fraction of their unique and profound personalities through my photography. Every day I am amazed at how much they can teach us about love, compassion and joy. As such, I am honored to provide my clients with beautiful, fine-art quality photos of their pet to cherish forever and ever!

My Process:

1. Contact me! Either send me an email or give me a call – (831) 854-7598.
Given their individual personalities and quirks (wink wink), the best place to start is by chatting on the phone so that I can get to know you and your pet! During our initial phone consultation, we will talk about finding the perfect location, setting and time to truly highlight your pet’s best attributes.

2. Getting Ready
After you book your date, I will send you an email with additional information for preparing for our shoot. Included is an online questionnaire to help me get to know your pet(s) better, model release, shoot recommendations and a full product catalog.

3. Our Photo Session
First things first – I want to get to know you and your little furry friend better. I always spend the first few minutes of my shoot letting your pet acclimate to me and my gear. From there, it really turns into a big adventure where your pet gets to do all of the things they love – playing, rolling, getting treats, barking, and just being themselves! I promise you that by the end they will be exhausted and may even fall asleep in the car.

4. Preview
A few days after our shoot, I will go ahead and post a preview of a few favorites from our session to my blog or Facebook. How exciting – now your pet can be famous and adored by everyone – not just YOU! LOL.

5. Ordering Session
About 10-14 days later we will we will meet for an in-person ordering session (or by phone, if you prefer). This is really when the excitement starts. During this session we will determine what shots you want to turn into wall art displays, photobooks or prints, etc. I also use specialized software to show you on the spot what your chosen pics will look like hanging on YOUR wall! Pretty cool, right?! Payment for your products is due at the time you order them.

6. Receive your Products and Display Them
In some ways, this is my favorite part. I absolutely LOVE seeing and hearing what my clients have to say after they receive their products! Usually it takes 2-3 weeks from ordering to receive your products (except for custom photo books – they typically take longer to design and produce).


Custom Wall Displays: I love working with my clients to create custom wall displays for their homes and offices. As such, I offer a wide variety of products to cater to your unique tastes and vision. During our final in-person ordering session (optional – we can also do this over the phone) we will sit down together to choose your favorite shots. Using custom imaging software, I am able to photograph the walls you want to decorate and instantly show you a preview of your photographs using different layouts and sizes! You can even preview your wall display with or without frames (canvas, stand-outs, etc.). This is a great tool that will allow us to quickly visualize size and grouping options all from the comfort of your couch.


All Sessions Include:
– Phone pre-consultation
– 2 hours of shooting time and up to two locations
– Private online proofing gallery
– Web quality proofs, suitable for email and social media
– $50 print credit towards any product
– Travel up to 50 miles from Santa Cruz
– Optional in-person ordering session

Session Fee:
$250

Please note:
Session fees do not include prints. Products such as custom photo books, frames, bamboo mounts and gorgeous gallery-style wrapped canvases are purchased separately. All prints and products use professional color correction techniques and archival photo papers.

Why should I consider purchasing prints or products from you?

So many people let these beautiful images sit on their computer indefinitely. I highly encourage anyone who has taken the time to do a shoot with a professional (like me) to go the extra mile and get some prints so that you can hang them on the wall and admire them forever! What good do the images do if no one ever sees them??! When you purchase a print or photo product from me you will be assured that it is professionally printed on archival paper with a guarantee of color correction and art quality.

Print / Product Pricing:

Desktop Prints start at $25 (5×7 and up) and display sizes (11×14) start at $80, a la carte. Most clients typically budget a minimum of $300 to purchase additional products. We also offer print / product collections which offer multiple products at a reduced cost. Contact us today for more information on our collections!
